1. Exponential Impact.
We all heard someone say to “do your part” and felt powerless against all the sheer amount of pollution in this world. But what happens if you help others do their part? And they helped others do the same? The impact would be exponential! Before you know it, you realize you were part of a movement for something really positive.
2. Making friends.
Meeting like minded people is the best part about helping others compost. You establish a real connection which leads to building communities. There will be the odd time you might run into a “worm emergency” and need someone to give your worms temporary shelter or help (that’s what happened to me.)
3. You learn by teaching!
Repeating the steps to compost will help you remember yourself. Also, often people have questions you haven’t thought of or suggestions that could make vermicomposting a whole lot better.
